Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult ICU, ED, and Level III NICU experience for a 4-week night shift travel assignment at an academic teaching hospital in Vermont.
Details
- Inpatient respiratory care setting at an academic teaching hospital
- Patient population includes adult ICU, adult ED, and Level III NICU; PICU experience is preferred
- 12-hour night shifts
- Monday through Sunday scheduling; schedule flexibility is required
- No block schedules
- No on-call requirements
- Weekend work as needed
- Epic EMR used
Requirements
- Must hold RRT credential; CRT will not be accepted
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Experience in adult ICU, adult ED, and Level III NICU required
- Academic teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Active certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS
- At least two professional references from a nurse manager and/or supervisor (one from the past 6 months, one from within the past year)
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult ICU, ED, and NICU inpatient settings
- All specialties worked must be thoroughly documented within each employment history entry
- All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not required
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
- Candidates holding a New York license may be considered with proof of a pending NY license
- Candidates without a Vermont license will be considered
