Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract in Maine, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ED or critical care experience and active ME or compact RN license.

Details

Work setting is a hospital emergency department offering a full spectrum of emergency care, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center
Night shift schedule: 7p-7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
13-week contract

Requirements

Active ME or compact RN license currently in hand, with no hits or actions on license or background
Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 1 year of ED or critical care nursing experience required
No previous permanent or travel employment with this facility

Additional Information

Responsibilities include patient assessment on admission and throughout stay, IV medication/therapy/blood administration, patient education, and nursing documentation
Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced hourly rate
