Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract in Maine, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ED or critical care experience and active ME or compact RN license.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital emergency department offering a full spectrum of emergency care, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center
- Night shift schedule: 7p-7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active ME or compact RN license currently in hand, with no hits or actions on license or background
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of ED or critical care nursing experience required
- No previous permanent or travel employment with this facility
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment on admission and throughout stay, IV medication/therapy/blood administration, patient education, and nursing documentation
- Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced hourly rate
