Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an ACR-certified Level I trauma center in Savannah, GA, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of recent experience.
Details
- CT Scan department at a 650-bed acute care hospital that is the only Level I trauma center and only children's hospital in the region
- Full range of CT examinations performed
- Evening/overnight shift: 3:30 PM – 4:00 AM, Saturday through Monday
- 3 technologists staffed on the evening shift
- Toshiba and GE CT equipment
- Epic EMR
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Strong critical thinking skills
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform the full spectrum of CT examinations in a high-acuity hospital environment recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission
- The facility holds ACR certification and offers comprehensive services including cancer care, cardiovascular care, and women's services
- Described by staff as a collaborative team with a positive, family-like atmosphere and supportive management
- Medium gray/pewter scrubs preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
