Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU setting
• Cares for some of the highest complexity critically ill patients in a multidisciplinary team environment
• 36 hours per week on a 50/50 day and night rotating shift schedule
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• At least 2 years of recent acute care inpatient experience or current ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a complex patient population including trauma, transplant, medical, and surgical ICU cases
• Every other holiday (EOH) coverage required
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation or public parking lots are available at candidate's expense
• Time tracking is done via UKG/Kronos
