Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an ICU position requiring active TX or compact licensure, ACLS, and night shift availability.

Details

  • ICU setting within a hospital environment
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
  • 13-week assignment
  • Floating to a different floor or alternate campus may be required

Requirements

  • Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
  • Candidate must reside 150 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

  • Provide direct, individualized nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and achievement of desired outcomes
  • RTO may be accommodated if the traveler can complete full hours around the time off or is missing no more than 1–2 shifts
  • The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid anything that could cause a positive result, including CBD products
