Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgery/Trauma Med/Surg position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in a comparable setting.

Details

• Located in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Unit 6B – Surgery/Trauma, focusing on spinal, neuro, trauma, and surgical patients, including gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia cases
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• Block scheduling is not approved on most units
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a similar-size, high-volume setting
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments with complex and fast-paced cases
• Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe case types
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered for this role
• No RTO (time off requests) will be approved for this assignment
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
