Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at an acute care hospital, requiring cath lab and critical care experience with on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 233-bed acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• On-call required one day per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Weekend work required
• No floating within the facility
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license valid in Missouri required; IL candidates may be considered with a pending IL license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cath lab experience required
• Critical care experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Navy scrubs required
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travelers may remain at this facility (part of the BJC health system) for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
• Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• A valid MO state license must be in hand at the time of consideration
