Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring active MA licensure and a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care or ICU experience.

Details

• 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU caring for highly complex, critically ill patients
• Large multidisciplinary team environment focused on high-acuity critical care
• 36 hours per week with a 50/50 day and night rotating shift schedule
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required — must be AHA only
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient or ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required — no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Provides critical care nursing to a complex patient population including trauma, transplant, medical, and surgical ICU cases
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking is available at daily rates
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• RTO requests must be communicated at the time of application
