Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring active MA licensure and a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care or ICU experience.
Details
- 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU caring for highly complex, critically ill patients
- Large multidisciplinary team environment focused on high-acuity critical care
- 36 hours per week with a 50/50 day and night rotating shift schedule
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required — must be AHA only
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient or ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required — no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Provides critical care nursing to a complex patient population including trauma, transplant, medical, and surgical ICU cases
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking is available at daily rates
- Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
- RTO requests must be communicated at the time of application
