Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Trauma ICU position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care or ICU experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU caring for highly complex, critically ill patients
- 36 hours per week with a 50/50 day and night rotating shift schedule
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used for charting
- UKG/Kronos used for timekeeping
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required — must be AHA only
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient experience or current ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
- Active MA license must be in hand prior to start — verified through both NURSYS and BON
Additional Information
- Works alongside a large multidisciplinary team providing care to some of the most critically ill adult patients
- Every other holiday (EOH) coverage required
- Flu vaccine is mandatory; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but are subject to a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking lots are available at a daily cost
- Time-off requests (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
