Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist for a Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSER) imaging unit, requiring at least 1 year of hospital or FSER CT experience and the ability to perform both CT and X-ray procedures.

Details

• Located in a Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSER) imaging department with 12 beds
• 1 technologist per shift
• Performs all CT procedures (no interventional) and most X-ray procedures (no OR or fluoroscopy)
• Equipment includes GE CT, GE X-ray, and AMX Navigate portable unit
• EMR is Meditech Expanse
• Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with at least 1 year of hospital or FSER-specific CT experience required — recently cross-trained candidates will not be considered
• Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray in a FSER environment
• RT(R) certification required
• RT(R)(CT) certification preferred
• IV start skills preferred
• Active license required if applicable
• Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida position)
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

• Candidate must be a self-starter, team-oriented, and willing to be an active part of the full FSER team — not just the imaging team
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
