Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift, weekend-focused travel contract at a Level II trauma center in Orange Park, FL, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT CT certification.

Details

• CT department within a 317-bed acute care hospital featuring a Level II trauma center, cardiovascular services, and a Level II NICU
• 3 CT scanners available on the unit (2 GE and 1 Siemens)
• 2 CT techs staffed on overnight shifts
• Standard CT scans performed — no invasive CT procedures required on this shift
• Closely supports the ER team to expedite patient throughput and meet Stroke and Trauma turnaround times
• Meditech and GE Centricity used for documentation
• Saturday through Monday night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
• May float to the main department per facility policy
• Minimal call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required; active experience within the last 6 months required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active FL state license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• GE CT scanner experience required
• Trauma and Stroke experience required
• Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• Patient-focused communication skills, including AIDET methodology, are expected

• Works as part of a tenured team with strong leadership in a fast-paced, ER-integrated environment
• Black scrubs required per HCA Division dress code policy
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
