Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

Details

• Works across multiple settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and Cath Lab
• Procedures include TTE, TEE, contrast echocardiography (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, and exercise and dobutamine stress echo
• Occasional pediatric TTE cases may be encountered
• Equipment used includes Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin
• EMR systems include Athena, Meditech, and PICOM
• Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts with a rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of echo technologist experience required
• RDCS credential required
• Current BLS (AHA) required
• CCI registry credential (RCS, RVS, RCCS, or RCIS) or ARDMS (RVT) required
• Proficiency with TTE, TEE, contrast studies, bubble studies, and stress echo required
• Left-handed scanning ability preferred
• CO state license required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Perform a full range of echocardiography studies including TTE, TEE, contrast echo, bubble studies, and exercise and dobutamine stress echo across hospital and outpatient settings
• Occasional pediatric TTE exams may be part of the workload
• Candidate must be a team player who is open to feedback and communicates effectively
