Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) night shift position requiring Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes those presenting with migraines, seizures, chest pain, spinal abscesses, MS, upper respiratory infections, post spinal surgery, and post-stroke care
• Patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5
• Average daily census of 29 patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every other weekend required (approximately 4 weekends per 13-week contract)
• Uses Epic EMR (experience required)

Requirements

• Active RN license — Louisiana or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
