Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Critical Care travel assignment requiring TNCC or TCAR, NIH stroke certification, and night shift availability.

Details

• ICU (Critical Care) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week considered
• Floating required to MS/Tele and ER (for Critical Care holds)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH Stroke Scale, 6 hours of Stroke education (facility can provide if needed), and EKG course completion (facility can provide if needed)
• Critical Care RN experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing; a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive drug screen result upon arrival, including CBD products
