Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with experience managing high-volume behavioral health patients.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital Emergency Department
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 07:00–19:30
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• High volume of behavioral health patients
• EMR: Cerner (Ceil)

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI or MOAB High-Risk training (online portion) must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed at orientation
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Documents required for consideration: 2 professional references, copy of Driver's License, copies of all certifications, and license verification/Nursys

Additional Information

• Blue scrubs are required
• Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies — candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible at a reduced pay rate
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
