Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications, with night shift availability and rotation through multiple L&D areas.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Rotation through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition — no post-partum coverage required
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week considered
- Contract length of 13–16 weeks, with flexible Monday start dates considered
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or a compact RN license valid in Texas
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
- The facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
- Candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to arrival, including CBD products
