Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Denver, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

Position is based in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab unit
Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
13-week contract assignment

Requirements

Active RN license for Colorado (standard CO license or compact license) currently in hand
Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC (must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
Current ACLS certification from AHA or ARC (must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no exceptions
One professional reference required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
All certifications must be from AHA or ARC

Swedish hospital has extremely good talent. They only employ the best in their fields. It is a level 1 trauma hospital and we get patients from all over the world daily. I love my job and the company. I am a Native of Colorado and am at the stage in my life where I want to travel. I took time off to raise my son. He is now 22.

Cons

Schedule flexibility, constantly changing staff. I am the only social worker that is left. People that were there for 31 years that recruited me left due to my current Leadership. But I am a very good worker that get along with any Leadership or coworkers. I am a very good producer and excel amd go above and beyond so Leadership never has problems with me. So I love Swedish and will miss it. I just want to travel.
