Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring Epic EMR experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

Mixed Med/Surg and intermediate care unit in a hospital setting
Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on patient assignment
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
36- or 48-hour weekly shift options available
Epic EMR required

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and is not permitted during the first week of orientation
