Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an IMC/PCU position requiring at least 2 years of experience including 1 year of travel nursing, with telemetry and critical care background, working night shifts on a 12-week contract.

Details

Intermediate Care (IMC/PCU) unit in a hospital setting with 24 staffed beds and a consistently high daily census
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Current critical care and telemetry experience required for this unit
Charting performed in Epic
Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
Block scheduling requests are not accommodated

Requirements

Active OK RN license or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry certification, and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
Current critical care and telemetry nursing experience required
Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
Recent utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months required
Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility
2 supervisory references required for consideration
Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position — at least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience is required
Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be outside the 75-mile radius
Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holidays or blackout dates may be requested
No holiday RTO requests will be accepted
