Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Radiology Prep/Hold/Recovery (PACU) position at a children's hospital in Arkansas, requiring Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting with a specialized Radiology Prep, Hold, and Recovery (PHR) unit
- PACU/Recovery Room nursing role serving a pediatric patient population
- 8-hour day shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AR RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- BLS certification required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of PACU/Recovery Room RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a fit test for respiratory protection (candidates with facial hair are not eligible unless for religious beliefs)
- Must be nicotine-free
- At least 1 professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
- Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Provide post-procedural recovery care to pediatric patients in a radiology prep, hold, and recovery setting
- Travelers are expected to contribute to a supportive team culture, particularly when working alongside students and new hires
- COVID vaccination is not required
- RTO requests of 3 days or less may be considered; holiday RTO is not available
