Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Radiology Prep/Hold/Recovery (PACU) position at a children's hospital in Arkansas, requiring Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.

Details

Pediatric hospital setting with a specialized Radiology Prep, Hold, and Recovery (PHR) unit
PACU/Recovery Room nursing role serving a pediatric patient population
8-hour day shifts
13-week contract

Requirements

Active AR RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
BLS certification required prior to start
Minimum 2 years of PACU/Recovery Room RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Must pass a fit test for respiratory protection (candidates with facial hair are not eligible unless for religious beliefs)
Must be nicotine-free
At least 1 professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

Provide post-procedural recovery care to pediatric patients in a radiology prep, hold, and recovery setting
Travelers are expected to contribute to a supportive team culture, particularly when working alongside students and new hires
COVID vaccination is not required
RTO requests of 3 days or less may be considered; holiday RTO is not available
