Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active LA or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital ICU setting with an average daily census of 44 patients
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
- Every other weekend coverage required
Requirements
- Active LA or compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all must be AHA-issued)
- Preferred certification: TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- Upon accepting an assignment, nurses may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility or serve on a relief team during emergency events
