Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring CVICU experience and NextStage CVVH machine proficiency.

Details

• CVICU setting within a hospital environment
• Cardiothoracic and cardiovascular ICU patient population
• Day and night shifts available: 7:00–19:30 and 19:00–7:30 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Some holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• NextStage CVVH machine used in this unit

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license with WI privileges required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior CVICU experience required
• Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Basic arrhythmia/telemetry experience required
• Must pass a telemetry test prior to starting
• Experience in a cardiothoracic surgery and/or acuity adaptable area preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients, including those recovering from cardiothoracic surgery
• A telemetry competency test must be passed before being cleared to begin the assignment
