Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience for a 13-week travel contract, working night shifts on a Sun/Wed/Fri schedule.

• CT Scan department in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
• Sun, Wed, and Fri night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT registration (RT(R) or RT(N)) required; CT registry preferred — if CT license is not held at time of hire, must be obtained within one year
• Active MA state radiation control board license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs a variety of CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
• Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images; able to insert and remove IVs
• All procedures are performed in accordance with federal, state, local, and hospital policies
• Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients is preferred
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
