Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Resource Float Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring prior travel experience and Epic proficiency at an academic teaching hospital in Vermont.

Details

Resource Float unit, floating to Med/Surg Telemetry and Med/Surg units as needed
Academic teaching hospital environment
12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities
Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block schedules
26-week contract
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active RN license in Vermont or a Compact state; NY candidates may be considered with proof of pending NY licensure
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
PCCN or orthopedic certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Academic or teaching hospital experience required
Epic experience within the past 2 years required (non-negotiable)
At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor (one within the past 6 months, one within the past year)
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Complete work history including bed count, EMR, facility type, and trauma level required

Additional Information

Bi-weekly Monday orientations offered; next available orientation is April 20
Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local; those 51–100 miles away fall under a mid-range radius tier
This is an offer-without-interview (IVS) position
