Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an inpatient Rehabilitation position requiring Epic proficiency and rehab/LTC experience for a 16-week night shift contract.

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit at a hospital campus setting
• Sub-acute and long-stay patient population
• Rehab/LTC patient cases
• 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling
• 16-week contract covering FMLA/LOA
• Epic EMR is used on this unit

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required (VT licensure not required at time of consideration, but candidates without VT licensure must apply within 24 hours of accepting an offer; NY candidates may be considered with proof of pending NY license)
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Rehab and/or LTC nursing experience required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required (non-negotiable)
• At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor (one from the past 6 months, one from within the past year of employment)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Complete work history required, including bed count, EMR, and facility type for all positions

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays; the next available orientation is 4/20
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• This facility is known to be strict about submission requirements; incomplete profiles may be dropped
• Any employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained
