Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week surgical unit assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

• Acute care hospital setting, Surgery/OR unit
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• Minimum 1 year of OR RN experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Implements and monitors patient care plans, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate
• Serves as a primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Carries out physician and nursing orders and supports patient discharge planning
• Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and decisive judgment with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Required to follow standard precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment
