Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position at a hospital-based CT imaging unit, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and GE CT scanner experience.

Details

• Hospital-based CT imaging unit
• Shift hours are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (36 hours per week)
• Night shift schedule with rotating shifts as required
• Performs diagnostic CT procedures including IV and oral/GI contrast administration
• GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required
• EMR system: Epic and Visage

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in CT scanning, IV and oral/GI contrast administration, and emergency response
• GE CT scanner experience preferred
• Epic charting experience
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency in accordance with established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
• Responsible for patient safety throughout all procedures and maintaining a professional, positive demeanor
• Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered (no experience minimum required)
