Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN with TNCC certification for a night shift travel contract at a Level 3 Trauma and STEMI/Stroke receiving center in California.

Details

• Work in a 31-bed Emergency Department with 5 dedicated resuscitation bays
• Level 3 Trauma Center, STEMI receiving center, and Stroke receiving center
• Average daily patient volume exceeds 100, with approximately 15% pediatric cases
• Night shift position with varying start times (1300, 1500, or 1900), all 12-hour shifts
• Primary shift hours are 1900–0730
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Trauma experience and solid knowledge of the pediatric patient population required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• ENPC certification preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a high-volume, mixed adult and pediatric patient population
• Experience with trauma cases is essential given the Level 3 Trauma Center designation
• Orientation week is not included in the standard 36-hour weekly schedule
