Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of acute care cath lab experience to support a high-acuity cardiac and interventional program at a beachside acute care hospital.

Details

• Acute care hospital with 266 staffed beds and 4 cath lab procedure rooms
• STEMI and stroke receiving center supporting cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology
• Procedures include TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with variable start times
• Weekday and weekend call requirements
• Floating between specialties within the lab is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, ARRT (or RCIS), and Fluoroscopy Permit required
• State license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Stroke and/or IR experience preferred; EP and structural heart experience not required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
• Parking is available on-site for a fee
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Pending licenses are not accepted
