Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment in a diagnostic imaging department in Illinois.

Details

• Diagnostic imaging department at an acute care hospital
• CT Technologist role within a radiology/imaging unit
• Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call up to 10 days per month, split equally among technologists
• EPIC and Safe Trace experience is a plus
• PACS system utilized in the department

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
• ARRT certification required
• IEMA licensure required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent certification
• AMT or ASCP certification preferred
• IV/contrast competency required
• Active state license required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing CT scans, verifying scan protocols with the Radiologist, and maintaining IV/contrast competency
• Assists with clerical and office duties to support department efficiency
• Utilizes PACS system for image management
• Solid color scrubs required; no specific color restrictions
• Parking available behind the hospital or at the South entrance
