Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU settings, for a 4x10 day shift contract.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit at a 356-bed non-profit academic medical center providing tertiary care
• Inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU patient populations
• Procedures include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic, and upper/lower extremity studies
• Equipment includes PACS, C-Arm, contrast injector systems (ACIST preferred), pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits
• EMR: Epic (required)
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call is assigned an average of 10 days per month, including at least one weekend
• No floating outside of scope

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings required
• Proficiency with PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, and biopsies required
• Experience with interventional tools including pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
