Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience, including telemetry, with an AZ or compact RN license.

Details

Hospital-based Medical/Surgical unit
Patient ratio of 1:5-6
Remote telemetry monitoring may be required
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Every other weekend required
Floating to other Med/Surg units as needed
Charting via Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
13-week contract

Requirements

Active AZ or compact RN license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
Telemetry experience required
Two professional references required for consideration
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

Orientation held every Monday
Blocked scheduling is not available
Local candidates are welcome to apply

Always floating, no home unit. Schedule can get crazy, don't know your unit until shift start usually. Would be rough for a 1st contract.
