Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical position requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and telemetry familiarity, with day shifts and every-other-weekend scheduling.

Details

Hospital Medical-Surgical unit setting
Patient ratio of 1:5-6
Potential for remote telemetry monitoring responsibilities
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
Every other weekend required
Floating to other Med/Surg units as needed
Meditech EMR used; prior experience preferred but not required
Orientation held every Monday

Requirements

Active AZ RN license or valid Compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote telemetry monitoring
Two professional references required for consideration
Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Always floating, no home unit. Schedule can get crazy, don't know your unit until shift start usually. Would be rough for a 1st contract.
