Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and telemetry skills, working night shifts every other weekend.

Details

Hospital Medical Surgical unit setting
Patient ratio of 1:5-6
Potential for remote telemetry monitoring
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
Every other weekend required
Floating to other Med/Surg units as needed
Orientation held every Monday
Charting via Meditech (experience preferred but not required)

Requirements

Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
Telemetry experience required
PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration

Always floating, no home unit. Schedule can get crazy, don't know your unit until shift start usually. Would be rough for a 1st contract.
