Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) unit position requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Step-Down (HVTI) unit setting
• Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift rotation may be required to meet operational needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Step-Down or a comparable specialty prior to travel
• Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience acceptable)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
