Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry night shift position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry Step Down unit in a hospital setting in Knoxville, TN
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 5:1

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Step Down or Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Valid US driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required; a white, royal blue, or black t-shirt may be worn under the scrub top
• Advanced Learning Center modules must be completed for all applicable areas
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
