Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) position in Kansas City, MO, requiring 2+ years of tele experience and a valid MO or Compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital telemetry unit in Kansas City, MO
• Telemetry patient population with potential float to Med/Surg as needed
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, variable days of the week
• Four weekend shifts required per six-week schedule block
• Floating to Med/Surg may be required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required
• 1+ year of Med/Surg experience preferred

Additional Information

• New graduates will not be considered for this position
• Orientation is multi-day and attendance on all dates is mandatory
• An Occupational Health appointment (including drug screen, TB test, and physical) is required upon offer acceptance
• Holiday coverage is expected on an as-needed basis
• COVID vaccination card required
