Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) position in Kansas City, MO, requiring 2+ years of tele experience and a valid MO or Compact RN license.
Details
- 13-week contract in a hospital telemetry unit in Kansas City, MO
- Telemetry patient population with potential float to Med/Surg as needed
- 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, variable days of the week
- Four weekend shifts required per six-week schedule block
- Floating to Med/Surg may be required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required
- 1+ year of Med/Surg experience preferred
Additional Information
- New graduates will not be considered for this position
- Orientation is multi-day and attendance on all dates is mandatory
- An Occupational Health appointment (including drug screen, TB test, and physical) is required upon offer acceptance
- Holiday coverage is expected on an as-needed basis
- COVID vaccination card required
