Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position at a rural Critical Access Hospital in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 2 years of RN experience.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license valid in Colorado required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required

Additional Information

• Serves as the primary nurse within an interdisciplinary care team
• Must be physically able to safely work at high elevation (approximately 8,000 feet above sea level, which results in lower oxygen levels)
• No RTO (time off) requests will be accepted for this assignment
• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing; the Aspen, CO area is known for very high housing costs, with surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs offering relatively more affordable options
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
