Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT cases, with on-call responsibilities and a flexible variable schedule.

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Case types include General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT surgeries
• Pediatric experience preferred
• On-call required
• Variable schedule to be discussed during interview — either 3x12s or 4x10s with rotating days off
• No block schedule available; days off are not fixed week to week

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license with TX as state of residence required
• Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT OR cases required
• Two supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
• Current certifications must be on file

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, including testing for marijuana and CBD products; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Day shift hours are 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM when applicable
