Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on the 5B Surgical Unit, requiring strong ortho/trauma surgical skills and a background in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments.

Details

• Position is on the 5B Surgical Unit of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Handles complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases including orthopedic and trauma
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts per month required
• No block scheduling — scheduling is deferred to unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• No approved RTO (time off) for this assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience with strong ortho/trauma surgical skills
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume, large-scale trauma environments required
• Background in hospitals with diverse and severe case complexity required
• Skills checklist matching the Med/Surg specialty required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
• Resume and work history including EMR used required for consideration
