Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract requiring Epic charting experience and registration with NMTCB or ARRT.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times (6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 8:15 AM–6:45 PM)
- After-hours on-call required once the department closes until it reopens, approximately 7 on-call days per month (on-call shifts are typically not busy)
- Epic EMR required — no exceptions
- May float to a nearby sister hospital
Requirements
- Registration in Nuclear Medicine with either NMTCB or ARRT required within 6 months of hire
- Active Oregon (OBMI) license required — license required if applicable (pending OBMI license may be considered)
- BLS (AHA) required within 90 days of hire
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine gamma cameras, probes, computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical support devices
- Epic charting experience required
- COVID vaccination required — no exemptions
Additional Information
- Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Must complete a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class (offered on-site) within 4 months of hire
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified once the profile has been submitted; additional RTO requests may result in cancellation
- Previous employees must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
