Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a night shift travel assignment in a large academic Level 1 trauma hospital, requiring ARDMS certification and breast biopsy experience.
Details
- Radiology Ultrasound Department in a 579-bed, Level 1 trauma academic teaching hospital with two on-campus sites
- Procedures include abdominal, gynecological, and breast ultrasound, as well as breast biopsies
- Schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, four 10-hour night shifts
- Weekend work required on an as-needed basis
- Epic EMR in use
Requirements
- ARDMS certification in abdomen, OB/GYN, and breast required
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required
- Experience in a breast care center and performing breast biopsies required
- Large teaching hospital experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years required
- At least two professional references from a manager or supervisor are required for consideration — one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
- Candidates holding a NY license with proof of pending status will be considered
- This is a 32-week assignment
- Block scheduling is not available for any reason
- All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained
