Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of CT experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma hospital in Novi, MI.

Details

• Hospital-based CT department serving ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Level II Trauma center
• 5x8-hour evening shifts, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• ARRT (CT) and BLS (AHA) required
• Active Michigan state license required, if applicable
• Hospital experience required
• Proficiency with GE and Philips CT equipment required
• Workstation experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; continuing medical education hours must be maintained
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move equipment and/or patients in excess of 10 lbs
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT scans and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations under general supervision
• Administer IV contrast media using power injectors and monitor patients for reactions
• Assist radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
• Manage image delivery into PACS and complete all study indexing within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Apply radiation protection principles including ALARA techniques
• Online orientation modules must be completed onsite prior to start date, typically 1 week before
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will be reviewed with management once the assignment begins
• COVID vaccination is mandatory
• Pewter scrubs required
