Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in a Radiology - CT/X-Ray unit in the Sierra Nevada region of California.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a combined Radiology - CT/X-Ray unit
• Cerner EMR used in this position
• Preferred experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment
• 12-hour shifts; AM shifts run 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 8:30 AM–9:00 PM, and PM/graveyard shifts run 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Current scheduling need is Thursday through Saturday, though this is subject to change
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Active CA Rad Tech license required (license required if applicable)
• CA Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT) certifications required; pending certifications are not accepted
• Active state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked (must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire)
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates will be sent to the manager for an interview; no pre-screening required
• Completion of facility onboarding modules is required before the start of the assignment; modules take approximately 6 hours to complete
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the health system within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
