Description
American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech for an Interventional Radiology position requiring 2-3 years of IR experience including neuro (acute stroke) and vascular procedures, with Level I Trauma and Cath Lab experience preferred.
Details
- Interventional Radiology (IR) department in an acute care hospital setting
- Schedule is a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour day shifts, averaging 40 hours per week
- On-call required for nights, weekends, and 1 major holiday with a 30-minute callback requirement
- Call rooms are available upon request during on-call shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- 2-3 years of IR experience with neuro (acute stroke), trauma, and vascular procedures required
- Level I Trauma hospital experience required
- Cath Lab experience preferred
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active BLS and ACLS required
- Active MA state license required (license required if applicable)
- Must reside 30 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 professional references required, at least one from a manager-level or above (supervisors not accepted); one reference must include a performance evaluation within the past 12 months, the other within 3 years
- References from fellow travelers are not accepted
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration

- One reference from a prior travel or temporary assignment is preferred
