Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in the Atlanta area, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, schedule may vary
• 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Any time off (RTO) requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
• Former permanent staff returning as travel nurses must have a 2-year break before being considered
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of ED specialty experience is required
