Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in the Atlanta area, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, schedule may vary
- 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Any time off (RTO) requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
- Former permanent staff returning as travel nurses must have a 2-year break before being considered
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of ED specialty experience is required
