Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical travel position requiring telemetry experience, night shifts, and a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.

Details

Acute care medical/surgical and bariatric unit
Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
36-hour weekly work commitment
Every other weekend required
Floating to other units required
Patient ratio of 1:7

Requirements

Active TN or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration
AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Med/Surg with telemetry experience required
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

13-week contract
Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
