Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a Level I Trauma Center in the Libertyville, IL area, with required OR, fluoroscopy, and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Radiology department at a 273-bed Level I Trauma Center, Level II NICU, Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Primary Stroke Center in Libertyville, IL
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations with general X-ray and fluoroscopy cases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 8-hour day shifts with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• 4 OR call shifts per month required
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the department
• No floating required
• Epic EMR used; experience is required
• GE, Siemens, and Fuji imaging equipment on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of X-ray experience required, with most recent experience within the last year
• Active IL state license (IEMA) required if applicable
• BLS (AHA) and ARRT certification required
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Strong OR experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency with GE, Siemens, and/or Fuji equipment preferred
• COVID vaccination required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Orientation includes at least one shift to learn department flow and processes
• Supervisor available on the unit for support as needed
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
