Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with NMTCB or ARRT registration and Epic experience for a 13-week travel contract in Oregon.

Details

Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
4x10 hour day shifts, with primary hours of 8:15 AM–6:45 PM; schedule may vary to 6:45 AM–5:15 PM depending on operational needs
Schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8:15 AM–6:45 PM, and Thursday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
On-call required after department closes until it reopens, with approximately 7 on-call days per month; on-call shifts are generally not busy
Epic EMR required — no exceptions
May float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

Registration in Nuclear Medicine with either the NMTCB or ARRT required within 6 months of hire
Active OR state license required — license required if applicable (no pending licensure accepted)
BLS (AHA) required within 90 days of hire
ACLS required within 6 months of hire
Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class (available on-site) within 4 months of hire
Minimum of 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
Proficiency with Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe and computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and related technical equipment
Epic EMR experience required
COVID vaccination required — no exemptions

Additional Information

Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
Five years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction
RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified once the profile has been sent for review; additional requests after submission may result in cancellation
Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
Travel pairs must be disclosed at the time of submission
