Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position in Boston, MA, requiring dedicated MICU experience, Level 1 trauma background, and an active MA RN license.

Details

Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting within a large academic health system in Boston, MA
Dedicated Medical ICU unit with A/B designation
12-hour rotating night shifts
Every third weekend required
7-week contract

Requirements

Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
Current certifications required: CPR/BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of dedicated Medical ICU (MICU) experience required
Level 1 trauma experience required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

Nurse manager will conduct an interview prior to offer — interview availability must be provided at time of consideration
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
Orientation is held weekly every Monday, excluding holidays
Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible — a minimum 6-month separation from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility is required
COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
Parking in the Boston area can cost up to $43/day — candidates should plan accordingly
