Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position in Boston, MA, requiring dedicated MICU experience, Level 1 trauma background, and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting within a large academic health system in Boston, MA
- Dedicated Medical ICU unit with A/B designation
- 12-hour rotating night shifts
- Every third weekend required
- 7-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
- Current certifications required: CPR/BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated Medical ICU (MICU) experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Nurse manager will conduct an interview prior to offer — interview availability must be provided at time of consideration
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
- Orientation is held weekly every Monday, excluding holidays
- Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible — a minimum 6-month separation from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility is required
- COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
- Parking in the Boston area can cost up to $43/day — candidates should plan accordingly
